Current Inventory, Humidor 1

I'm keeping track of my collection using a spreadsheet I found on Cigar Beat. I'll update the blog periodically with the current inventory and discuss my progress with the collection.

The prices here will not reflect what you see in your local humidor as I purchase most of my cigars on sale or in auctions. Also, the price is per cigar, so you'll see the total price decrease as I go through them.  I'm hoping to age the Cohibas for a few years, if I can make them last that long...they are damn tasty.

The Perdomo Frescos are my go to smoke.  They're cheap and flavorful, so I'll tend to smoke them more frequently so as not to blaze through my more valuable sticks too quickly.  Although I have them in a Natural, I much prefer the Maduro wrapper.

Welcome

Welcome to Winston's Stash.  In this blog I will discuss my cigar collection, cigars I'm currently smoking or plan to smoke and anything else having to do with cigars.

I smoked my first cigar roughly 16 years ago.  With those first few puffs I knew it would not be my last.  Like many other starting cigar smokers, it was a Swisher Sweet with a wooden tip.  I was not yet old enough to buy my own cigars, so I began giving my 18 year old friends money to buy cigars for me from the tobacconist at the mall.  I don't remember the bands on the cigars they came back with, they were certainly not Swisher Sweets. I smoked them in the relative privacy of my attic bedroom by an open window in the dead of winter. I froze my ass off, but I clearly remember how delicious they were and the mild buzz I caught; I was hooked.  Thus began my foray into the world of tobacco and I haven't looked back.
